3. Student and Educational Data

TACET Campus is designed with student privacy in mind.

When providing services to educational institutions, TACET processes student information on behalf of authorized schools and districts, subject to applicable agreements and privacy laws, including FERPA and COPPA where applicable.

Our privacy principles include:

  • Collecting only information necessary for authorized educational and safety purposes.
  • Restricting access to authorized personnel.

Schools and districts retain control over their educational records and determine authorized access and use. See our Student Data Privacy Policy for more information about TACET Campus.

4. Information Sharing

We may share information with trusted service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, email delivery, AI processing, and other essential operations. For example, our website contact form is protected by Cloudflare and delivers messages to us by email through Microsoft Azure.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their independent advertising purposes.

5. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

Safeguards depend on the service and deployment, including access restrictions and measures to protect information in storage and transit.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, satisfy contractual obligations, or comply with applicable law.

For TACET Campus, the applicable retention schedule, school instructions, agreements, and legal requirements determine when records are returned or deleted. Backup deletion may follow a separate documented schedule.
